"For a kiss to be really good, you want it to mean something. You want it to be with someone you can't get out of your head, so that when your lips finally touch, you can feel it everywhere. A kiss so hot, so deep, you never wanna come up for air."
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

-on the holidays and more-
Christmas is just 5 million seconds away or so, i don't know. But i honestly can't feel the magic - the holiday cheer is just not there. I'm not really lookin forward to it, although i want it to happen buyt i don't know why I'm so dry with it fast approaching.
Another holiday just ended, had a tremendous struggle to study. I had to completely urge myself especially now that i've been laxin for quite some time. Got good output though, which is a nice thing. I'd accomplished a few things and got some school work rollin.
-wednesday night lookback-
Watching 'PBB UpLate' with some friends was fun. Although it was kind of messed up and I couldn't see the host (which by the way was very pretty) that much because of our seats. The angles were just not there. It was a good experience, I've never been into a studio since my 'Wazzup Wazzup' experience last year.
Before we went to the studio, played poker at my friend's place. fun fun fun. hehe. played for chips, nothin more nothin less. Prolly it's because we didn't want to shell out cash esp. now that the holidays are is fast approachin. Ate at Jack's Loft prior to this. Good shit as always.
-school in a few-
I'm leavin in a while for school. It's hard to move esp. now that the rainy days are up and and running. How nice it is to just bed myself the whole day. Lounging has always been a tremendous activity.

it was one of those lethargic mondays.
started my school day with a little polsci lecture while taking notes on the floor. yes on the floor. the room was so cramped and i wasnt able to get a friggin chair.
hanged for a bit with je and eventually some blockmates. ate my first meal.
hours later we attended a 'biological' talk on microorganisms headed by the Japanese thesis adviser of our microbiology teacher. he was cool and funk.
then came the scorching heat which enveloped our laboratory during my microbio lab. performed tons of staining experiments for five hours (yes folks, one extra hour). couldn't move and work well because of the nasty heat circulating inside my already-stuffy lab gown. it was hard to move and i felt the intense condensation hip-happenin on my face. sweat that is.
worked my ass of together with my 3 teammates. managed to get a 50%-bonus incentive for my first quiz 2 weeks from now. at least the shit paid off.
went to mcdo with ina, je, bernice and some cebu people. by then it was already past 6.
i guess i did not see the turn of events coming fast and right before me. i expected something better would come out of this day, something exciting; only to find out that i was headed for something tedious and hard. thanks to the hot and sticky weather.
the important thing is..it's over.
haha wala lang. i just wanted to share it. parang ang plenty ng nangyari today eh.

Thursday was a very bustling one.
Some nine people (me, miko, harv, jeff, eula, binx, tadz, vina and carla) went to tagaytay to have lunch. Yes. We rode Jeff's pajero and zoom-zoomed our way there, picked up Binx along the way.
It was a blast! Giganormoulsy (my word) worth it. Had dinner at the Residence Inn and toured a bit afterwards. Freakin Ostriches scared the shit out of me. They were effing (f****ng) HUGE!!! Yea right, as if I was the only one who was scared of those freakishly looking birds. Saw some tigers, lions, crocs and other animals along the way, hehe.
We blasted off to Starbucks afterwards. Starbucks + Tagytay = Terrific. Enjoyed the view while camm whorring our faces out. Hehe!
Went down after an hour and headed to ATC (Alabang Town Center) which is by far one of my favorite-st malls!!! They have everything there! Hehe!
Guys, we should do this again! Ang fun! hehe!

If life was a box of crayons, which color would you pick?
There are tons of different colors. Not just 8, nor 16 not even 64, there are lots.
But does it really matter? If your individuality can be represented by a color, then does that make one (a person) unique?
Yes and No i guess.
Yes. Because like colors, people are diverse. There are tons of different personalities, anchored by each person's beliefs, principles and preferences.
You can be a 'blue' for example, but there are different shades of blue. light blue, sky blue, dark blue, royal blue, etc. Perhaps these different shades pertain to the many facets our personhood is composed of.
No. Because we need other 'colors' to brighten (or darken) our lives. This may sound sappy but it's true. People tend to represent one color but in fact they are bound to blend in with the other colors, this is because we need other people in our life too. We can't live happy enought just by being a single color in our entire life. We need to mingle, to blend, to sink into other people's lives. We need to share, to give, receive and to get involved.
So, I will throw back the question at you. Is one color really enough to represent us??
In this box of crayons we're living in, we will always be side by side with the other crayons. Pick one, but be sure to blend in.
Cheerio.

When we think of champions, we think of people who have accomplished things beyond the bounds of accepted belief of expectation. While such feats might require tremendous strength and ingenuity, in many cases there's another underlying requirement: COURAGE.
It takes real courage to first imagine and attempt something that hasn't been done; one which may not seem remotely doable; or something which is likely to be somewhat uncomfortable, well at least at the outset.
Courage is a requirement for any kind of leadership, this is because leadership implies going first. It also implies finding and forging a proper path without benefit of someone else up ahead breaking trail or even pointing the way. Leadership is at its very best when one takes action and takes a stand on what he or she believes in.
But one thing many of us forget is that we are all leaders, in our own special way. Each one of us is born to become a leader. We are all made to become leaders in at least one sense: we are meant to lead ourselves. In fact, until we are capable of leading ourselves, we are unfit to lead other people.
Ironically, as long as we are unclear about our own purpose, our values and our ability to adhere them, we are also largely unfit to be led by anyone else.
In life, there will be at least once, one incident in which you are the leader. Whether you lead or you have led by good or bad example, this will open a new path, perhaps a better understanding of the things to come.
